What we collect, and what we do not
This page lists exactly what happens to information on AI Site View. It is written from what the site actually does, and it changes when the site does.

Who is responsible
AI Site View is run by Shika Group, a United Kingdom studio. For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete your information, email hello@aisiteview.com. We answer within 30 days.
Cookies
None. AI Site View sets no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, this page changes first and a choice is offered before anything is stored.
If you install the site as an app, your browser keeps a copy of the page files so it can open offline. That is a cache of our own files, on your device, under your control, and it identifies nobody.
When you scan a website
You type a website address. Our server fetches that site's public homepage, robots.txt and sitemap, once as an ordinary browser would and once with each AI crawler's published user agent, and reads the result. The report is built from that public content and shown to you. The scanned website's owner is not contacted.
The scan is not saved to a database and is not linked to you. To understand how the tool is used, we record that a scan happened, the address that was scanned, and the score it received, as an anonymous usage event with no identifier attached. Nothing connects that event to a person.
To protect the service, our host applies a limit of twelve scans per hour from one network address. The address is held in memory for that hour and is not stored.
When you join the waitlist or request a repair
You give us your email address, and, depending on the form, the website you want repaired, how many websites you look after, and what you are interested in. If you scanned a site in the same visit, the address and score of that scan travel with the form so that we can reply about the right website.
This goes into a private spreadsheet held in a Google Workspace account operated by Shika Group, and triggers one confirmation email to you. That email may come from an aisiteview.com address or from another Shika Group address. We use the information only to do what you asked for: reply about a repair, or tell you when monitoring opens. We do not send newsletters, and we do not pass the information to anyone else.
If you book a call from the repair form, the booking is made on Calendly under its own privacy terms, and your email address and website are passed to it to fill the form.
We keep waitlist and repair information until you ask us to delete it, or until two years after our last contact with you, whichever comes first.
Usage measurement
We measure how the site is used with Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and a small set of actions, such as a scan completing or a form being sent, without cookies and without an identifier that follows you between days. We may also send the same anonymous events to a measurement service of our own, held in the European Union, under the same rules: no cookies, no identifier, country and region only, never a city or coordinates.
Free text you type into "Ask your website" is answered in your browser from the scan already on screen and is not sent to us.
Where information is processed
The site runs on Vercel, and email is sent through Hostinger and Google. Each of these may process data outside the United Kingdom, under their standard contractual terms.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by emailing hello@aisiteview.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
